You don’t need to spend money on pre-packaged microwave popcorn you buy at the store. Just make your own! You will save money and won’t ingest all those yucky ingredients that are included with traditional microwave packages.

Ingredients

– one brown paper lunch bag

– 1/4 cup of popcorn

Preparation

Microwave Popcorn Pic2Place popcorn in bag and fold the top twice

Flatten the bag and place bag seam side down in microwave

Microwave for 2 minutes, but monitor closely as times vary

Season with salt and melted butter

Makes 1 serving

Note

I buy my popcorn in the bulk section at my local grocery store, but you can also purchase it at your local farmer’s market.
