How to Reuse Your Campaign Signs

Heather signWhere we live, people are really involved politically. I mean REALLY involved. Leading up to our last primary one week ago, every third house seemed to have multiple campaign signs in the front yard. So what do people do with these campaign signs after the election is over? I fear they send them to the landfill. Ugh. That’s a lot of signs in the trash.

But there are better options!

One way is to reuse your sign to promote yard sales or other community events.  Just recover it it with paper. I used flip chart paper. You may need to cut the paper to fit the sign (reuse or recycle any extra!).

Attach the paper with clear tape (scotch tape or packing tape work fine) and then either write on your sign with markers or print out a message from your computer’s printer (use really big font!) and attach that to your sign.
